Day 1

Cities: Tabriz

After arriving at Tabriz International Airport (TBZ), you will meet and greet Derak representative. Then, you will transfer to hotel to rest.


Day 2

Cities: Tabriz

Today, you’ll have the whole day to explore Tabriz:

  • Blue Mosque (or Kabood mosque)
  • Azerbaijan Museum
  • Tabriz Bazaar (UNESCO Site)
  • Elgoli Park
  • Constitutional House

Day 3

Cities: Tabriz, Kandovan Village

Today, a short drive takes you to Kandovan village (56 km), the marvelous village located in the middle of Osku valley. It is well-known for its unique architecture including manmade cliff dwelling which is still inhabited. After discovering this unique area, you will drive back to Tabriz and rest there.


Day 4

Cities: Tabriz, Hamedan

Early in the morning, you’ll have a ride to Hamedan (550 km); en route, you’ll stop to see the Soltaniyeh Dome, the UNESCO site and capital of Ilkhanid dynasty which was founded by Mongols; then, you’ll continue the road towards Hamedan, ancient Ecbatana.


Day 5

Cities: Hamedan

Today, you’ll have the whole day to explore this ancient city; including:

  • Ganjnameh (including Achaemenid inscriptions & a nice waterfall)
  • Avicenna Mausoleum (famous Iranian scientists & writer of more than 200 books on medicine and philosophy)
  • Tomb of Esther and Mordechai (an important Jewish pilgrimage site)
  • Hegmataneh Ancient City (UNESCO Site)
  • Baba Taher Tomb

Day 6

Cities: Hamedan, Khorram Abad

After breakfast, your journey continues by driving toward Khorram Abad (250km), the beautiful city lies in the mountainous area of Zagros; there, you’ll visit:

  • Falak ol Aflak Castle (An Impressive Castle dates back to Sassanid era)
  • Keeyow Lake (a natural lake in heart of the city)

Day 7

Cities: Khorram Abad, Shush, Shushtar

Today, you will have a drive to Shushtar (305 km); en route, you will pass through many historical cities and you will explore:

  • Tomb of Daniel (the traditional burial place of the biblical prophet Daniel)
  • Shush Castle (constructed by French archaeologist Jean-Marie Jacques de Morgan in the late 1890s)
  • Apadana Palace in Susa (A capital of the Achaemenid Empire)
  • Haft Tappeh Archaeological Site & Museum
  • Chogha Zanbil (UNESCO site)

Day 8

Cities: Shushtar, Shiraz

An early visit to Shushtar Historical Hydraulic System (UNESCO site) will start out your day; then, you will continue your journey toward Shiraz (561 km).


Day 9

Cities: Shiraz

Right after having the breakfast, your city tour in Shiraz will be started:

  • Nasir al-Mulk Mosque (Pink Mosque)
  • Naranjestan-e Qavam
  • Vakil Complex (including Mosque, bath and bazaar)
  • Karim Khan Citadel
  • Eram Garden (UNESCO Site)
  • Ali Ibn-e Hamze Holy Shrine
  • Hafez Tomb (beloved poet of 14th century)

Day 10

Cities: Shiraz

Early in the morning, you will get on the road to visit the masterpieces of Achaemenid dynasty; including:

  • Persepolis (UNESCO site)
  • Necropolis (Naqsh-e Rostam)
  • Pasargadae (UNESCO site)

Day 11

Cities: Shiraz, Sirjan, Kerman

Early in the morning, drive towards Kerman (570 km), en route, in Sirjan, you’ll discover:

  • Sirjan Salt Playa

Day 12

Cities: Kerman, Mahan, Rayen, Bam

This morning, you’ll get on the road and pass through Mahan, Rayen and Bam (about 200 km); in these ancient cities, you’ll discover:

  • Shahzadeh Garden (UNESCO site)
  • Shah Nematollah Vali Shrine
  • Rayen Citadel (the second largest adobe structure in the world after the Bam Citadel)
  • Arg-e Bam (UNESCO site)

Then, you’ll drive back to Kerman…


Day 13

Cities: Kerman, Shahdad

In the morning, you’ll drive towards Shahdad village (96 km) and have excursion in the central of Lut desert. In this area, Kalout are the most beautiful natural creatures in desert which are located in 40 km of Shahdad. Continuing to Gandom-e Beryan which is the warmest part of the planet with a temperature of 55 °C in summer, located in 15 km of Shahdad Kalout.


Day 14

Cities: yazd

Leaving Kerman this morning, you’ll drive toward Yazd (366 km); then in this historic city, you’ll discover:

  • Water Museum
  • Silence Towers

Day 15

Cities: Yazd

Today, you’ll have a full day to explore Yazd, this UNESCO site:

  • Jameh Mosque (including two 48m-high minarets & tiled entrance portal)
  • Dowlat Abad Garden (UNESCO Site)
  • Amir Chakhmaq Complex (dazzling symbol of Yazd)
  • Zoroastrian Fire Temple
  • Alexander’s Prison (Ziaiyeh School)
  • Saheb al-Zaman Power House

Day 16

Cities: Meybod, Naein, Isfahan

This morning, you’ll leave Yazd for Isfahan (323 km); en route, in the ancient cities of Meybod and Naein, you’ll visit:

  • Shah Abbasi Caravanserai (One of the important roadside lodging houses of Safavid era)
  • Zeilo Museum of Meybod
  • Narin Castle (Pre-Islamic historical monuments)
  • Jameh Mosque of Naein
  • Ice House

At night, in Isfahan, you will visit two astonishing bridge of Isfahan: Si-o-Se-Pol Bridge and Khaju Bridge, while the Esfahanis gather under the arches to sing.


Day 17

Cities: Isfahan

After breakfast, you’ll have the whole day to explore Isfahan:

  • Naghsh-e Jahan Square (UNESCO Site)
  • Imam Mosque
  • Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque
  • Ali Qapu Palace
  • Qeysarieh Bazaar (Best place to buy souvenirs)

In the afternoon, you’ll have a pleasant walk to reach:

  • Vank Cathedral (Wonderful Armenian Church of Safavid era)
  • Chehel Sotoon Palace (UNESCO Site)

Day 18

Cities: Kashan

Early in the morning, a short transfer (215 km) will bring you to Kashan; there, you will visit:

  • Fin Garden (UNESCO Site)
  • Tabatabaei Traditional House
  • Sultan Amir Ahmad Bathhouse
  • Kashan Bazaar

Day 19

Cities: Qom, Tehran

Leaving Kashan toward Tehran (243 km), you’ll discover Qom city on your way and visit:

  • Fatima Masumeh Holy Shrine
  • Qom bazaar

Then, in Tehran, you will rest and relax in the teahouses of Darband.


Day 20

Cities: Tehran

Today, you will explore Tehran, the modern and crowded capital of Iran, by visiting:

  • Golestan Palace (UNESCO Site & masterpiece of Qajar era)
  • Iran Jewelry Museum or (Carpet museum)
  • National Museum of Iran
  • Abgineh Museum
  • Tabiat Bridge (The pedestrian bridge connecting two famous park in Tehran)
  • Milad Tower

Day 21

Cities: Garmsar, Damghan

After breakfast, you’ll get on the road toward Damghan (365 km); en route, you’ll pass through Garmsar and visit:

  • Garmsar Salt Mines
  • Kuh-e Ezhdeha (Dragon Mountain)

Day 22

Cities: Mashhad

After having an early visit to Tarikhaneh Mosque (Sassanid era monument), you’ll have a ride toward Mashhad (555 km) and you will pass through Shahroud, Sabzevar, and Neyshabur cities.


Day 23

Cities: Mashhad

This morning, you’ll visit:

  • Imam Reza Holy Shrine (the 8th Imam of Shiite)
  • Gohar Shad Mosque
  • Garden complex of Naderi Museum
  • Kooh Sangi Park

Day 24

Cities: Mashhad

Your last day will start by visiting:

  • Torghabeh
  • Tomb of Ferdowsi

Then you will be prepared for your departure flight.
